On Thursday, September 29, the closing event of the RESISTANT Project, which was funded by the European Union and in particular by the Commission’s ECHO Group within the framework of the UCPM Horizon 2020 call, took place at the Conference Center of the Association of Industries of Northern Greece in Thessaloniki.
The project involved partners from Greece, Ireland, Croatia, North Macedonia. The main partner was the International University of Greece and the scientific manager was professor Dr. Emmanouloudis
The keynote speaker was the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, X. Stylianidis, who, referring to the project, emphasized its innovation and the particularly useful and beneficial solutions it provides to the citizens of the European Union, in matters of information and awareness of the great risk of natural disasters and technological risks.
The representative of DG ECHO and project officer Mrs. Teresa Capula moved along the same wavelength, who emphasized that this project is a point of reference in the technological solutions it introduces for the protection of citizens.
Afterwards, the scientific team of the participants in the project presented in detail all the innovative techniques developed during its implementation and which are mainly based on Artificial and Augmented Intelligence. Reality as in Business Simulation Techniques.
